Pepsi One has no aftertaste that I notice, and it’s fairly sweet.
Diet-Rite Cola is almost as good, but it has a citrusy aftertaste. Not unpleasant, but noticeable. You’ll be amused by its presumption.
Any non-colas that taste good (relatively speaking)?
My preference for diet soda is for diet root beer. I can make a great low-cal root-beer float with diet root beer and low-fat vanilla frozen yogurt. Yum!
TIBS LIKE DIET COKE.
Tibs think Diet Coke God’s way of saying, “good morning, Tibs! I love you, Tibs!”
Diet Coke…GOOD.
Tibs.
Diet Dr Pepper (Normal Drink)
Diet Mountain Dew (Need Mucho Caffeine Badly)
Diet Sprite or 7up (Need To Sleep Sometime In The Next Few Hours)
A&W diet creme soda is actually pretty good, with almost no aftertaste. Shasta diet grapefruit is also nice.

Diet Coke. Easy. I think there’s something in it that keeps me drinking.
rowrrbazzle, a Pogo fan deserves an answer.
Lucky’s Golden Peach. At least until they were bought out by Albertson’s, it actually tasted like peaches.
Diet Pepsi is on my shit list. Am I the only person who gets the formaldyhyde taste? Omigod, imagine drinking embalming fluid…

I’d also suggest Diet Mountain Dew Code Red. I’ve found it to be even better than the non-diet version.
Mmmmm…Soda…
Diet Cherry Coke just doesn’t tast like a diet drink. Never feel cheated after drinking it.
Canfield’s Diet Chocolate Fudge soda is hard to find, but just unbelievable. If you can find it, taste it.
Pepsi 1 tops my cola list.
diet RC uses splenda which I like over almost all other sweetners but I don’t care for the taste.
Diet coke is good all around order out drink
Diet pepsi sux but will do in a pinch
Diet Mt dew to get things done
I drank Fresca for a long time before I found out it was a diet drink.
I love that stuff! I haven’t been able to find it in years tho’.
I like diet Dr Pepper, and diet Pepsi Twist.
And nothing beats diet Sprite for an upset tummy.

In Order:
Diet Coke
Diet Dr. Pepper
Diet A&W Root Beer
Diet Pepsi ONLY in a can (I know, it makes no sense) and only when it is very cold.
And regarding Diet Mt. Dew…what’s up with that odd film crap around the glass - looks like the remains of an Alka Seltzer?
Also, I am one of those idiots who will order a Diet Coke with a slice of pie and get the rolled eye-balls from the waitress…the thing is, non-Diet drinks are just too sweet for me…it has less to do with the calories than the fact I don’t like swigging a mouthful of sugar.
Am I the only one who has this problem?
Diet Dr. Pepper is the only diet drink that actually tastes like the real version to me.
I drink Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi, but only for the caffeine. I prefer them very cold with lemon slices–helps kill the nasty aftertaste.

Used to be a big diet 7-Up fan, but I have to say that the new diet Sierra Mist is the best stuff going, in my opinion!
Diet coke is very different in taste then regular coke - I would almost say that pepsi is closer to the taste of coke then D C is.
Also being an atkid for many years I get a strange loom when I order a high fat meal (low carb) and a deit coke.
