You obviously still haven’t seen Hellfire.
Oh, I definitely have. Excellent song, that one.
But “Hellfire” had already been mentioned several times in the thread, and I thought that there were other songs (earlier than “Hellfire”) that delved into the “deep end”, so to speak. Like “Worthless”.
It would be faster to name the songs that I don’t like in Disney movies than to name the ones that I do. Disney music is often surprisingly catchy and given how many times Jr. wants to watch a particular movie, that’s a good thing.
I like most of what has been previously listed but didn’t see “Why Should I Worry/Street Savoir Faire”, “Once Upon A Time in New York City”, or “Streets of Gold” from Oliver and Company named. I was disappointed in the movie itself but the songs were great!
What I was most disappointed in musically in terms of a Disney movie were the songs from Winnie the Pooh; I know them all by heart but none are especially catchy. Their value to me is more in sentimental value because they were the songs that helped my son learn to talk.
Lots of worthy songs on this thread. The Toy Story sound track is wonderful and so is the Beauty and the Beast soundtrack, however my favorite is “God Bless the Outcasts” from Hunchback. Makes me cry every time (well every time Bette Midler isn’t singing it anyway.)
