Favorite music introduced by the SDMB

This is going to be a poll but all about music so I figure it belongs here.

I was browsing through my Musicmatch Jukebox and I realized that several of my favorites have come from doper suggestions.

Nellie McKay, Interpol, The Polyphonic Spree, Tilly and the Wall, and Susan Tedeschi may have never made it into my regular listening rotation if it hadn’t been for the recommendations found on the boards.

What are some other favorites that have been introduced here?

I actually first heard them in the Jetta commercial, but it was people here that told me the name of the band was Kings of Leon.

The Shins are the only thing I can think of at the moment. I really like the Shins.

Hayseed Dixie - bluegrass covers of hard rock/heavy metal tunes (AC/DC, KISS, etc).

I think I caught my first (favorable) reference to The Negro Problem on this site.

Big Star
Chris Bell
The Pixies (I had heard of them before, but I was convinced to check them out by reading the SDMB)
Wire
Billy Bragg
Tom Waits
Teenage Fanclub
Husker Du

Rammstein
Kings of Leon
Jane’s Addiction
Depeche Mode
Bauhaus

The SDMB introduced me to The Dandy Warhols, which was my introduction to slightly out of the mainstream indie rock, which developed into a relatively varied music collection rather than just “whatever is on the radio” as it was previously.

So, indirectly, I owe almost all of the music I listen to to The Dandy Warhols and the SDMB. How bout that.
