Favorite poster?

Had the eight-panel fold-out White Album poster above the bed when I was a kid.

Er possibly six-panel.

I had about a dozen early Jethro Tull posters but my mother threw tham all away when I moved out.

It’s amazing to me how dated those posters look in that style they used to use in the 1970’s. The movie however, has held up quite well and entertains my CGI and X-Box One spoiled children even today.

I have never owned or hung a poster. But the facility I’ve been working at for the past nine years had several Suckup Accessories (or as they prefer to be called, “Successories”) type posters on every available surface. Eagles, mountain climbers, fighter jets flying in close formation, that sort of thing.

Until it was removed recently, my favorite one was this.

Yes, someone really got away with hanging it up for several years.

When I was little my uncle had this poster hanging in his bedroom. He had the best bedroom EVER to my 7 year old mind. Model cars he built, scary comic books (Tales of the Crypt and Eerie are two I remember), a series of hardcover books called something like: The Best Single Panel Comics of . . . with a year, mostly late 50s. and other, even more garish posters. But this one was my favorite. I’d pretend to live there.

The only poster we have in the house now is this Route 66/Life one. Ours is like 4x5 feet.

To show that my tastes have improved slightly, I have this poster mounted and hanging in the upstairs hallway.

Two of my favorites:

The Kramer (this one hangs in my den.)

I Want to Believe (Mulder’s poster from The X-Files.)

The Shit List - always entertaining bathroom decor. And classy, too! :stuck_out_tongue:

I picked up an original 1971 Shaft movie poster about 15 years ago.

I used to have one of these in my office, until it was lost in an office move.

This was back in the late 80’s, and it wasn’t one of the many reproductions you can buy today that are almost the same as seen on the set, it was the same.

I havethisone andthis one…

I used to have a copy of this one… my grandmother had one like it hanging on her refrigerator for years… It is my favorite and I’d love to get another copy someday.
