Favorite snack foods/fast foods/drinks/any kind of foods that they do not make any more...

Coincidentally, I was just thinking earlier today about Tyson TV dinners. They used to make those and they were pretty good. I remember their chicken piccata was one of my favorites.

Loved the Zonkers…True story: circa 1971 we found a penny in one of the boxes coated in that zonker coating and my Mom wrote them and told them about it, they sent us a case of Screaming Yellow Zonkers. That was awesome.

I miss Bar None candy bars.

Mint-flavored Snapple. Best flavor they ever had.

I didn’t realise til right now that they stopped making them.
I miss Colvan Chips.:frowning:

Rally candy bar, it was the Hershey equivilent to Baby Ruth.

Chipsters.

They still had them in France last time I was there.

A cookie called Jingles that only was available at Christmas. I still look for them just in case.

The McDonald’s Cheddar Melt. I’m sure it’s not good as I remember it, but I loved those damned limited time offer things in the late 80s.

Pepsi Blue

Green Sands(it appeared again with much fanfare a few years ago after being off the market for more than a decade, everyone remembered having it as kids. Now it appears to have dissapeared once more :frowning: http://www.trinigourmet.com/index.php/green-sands/ ).

This is the first I’ve heard of it! :frowning:

And count me as someone else who actually liked crystal pepsi. I remember being quite annoyed when it was discontinued.

Unfortunately, the local Hardee’s just excised fried chicken less than two weeks ago. Fortunately, the other local Hardee’s still serves fried chicken.

BBQ Fritos were a pretty common thing. I went out a few weeks ago because I had a craving for them but all they had was those Honey Barbecue Twists which was not at all what I wanted. I fear that they are slowly going away. The Chilli Cheese ones are hard to find too.

Do you remember the Wild N’ Mild Ranch ones? Those were tasty too.

Looks like the same type of packaging/marketing in any case. Thanks!

Mine must have done at least 8 years ago, I moved in with my with wife (girlfriends at the time) 10 years ago and being pretty dirt poor, my parents lovingly bought us some fried chicken from Hardees because she knew I loved it. Shortly after they stopped serving it. They have awesome bisuits there too which helps. Now there is a Red Burrito attached, which is ok, but I’d rather have the chicken.

Some retro candy treats can be found at the Vermont Country Store, along with other old timey products.

Ooh, they have Sky bars! Only 4/7th of a Seven Up bar, but still…

[sub]wish they’d bring the Seven Up bar back[/sub]

An Eternal Truth.

Kudos used to make a peanut butter flavored bar that was my snack of choice in college in the 90s. I haven’t seen that flavor in years. :frowning:

La Choy mini egg rolls - I don’t know if they discontinued them or not, but I haven’t seen them for years.

Burger King Rodeo burger - apparently these are still on the menu in some BKs, but none of the ones in my area have had them for years. I suppose I could just order a regular hamburger and ask them to put BBQ sauce and onion rings on it, if I really can “have it your way,” but I really don’t want to bother doing that. Not that I’ve even been to Burger in years, anyways.
