Favorite Songs Of The Musician's Own Discography?

And if you can (please), list (as best as you can) the writers and/or co-writers of the song… I’m usually interested when a musician in a great band names songs they love that they didn’t write.

In “Far Out” magazine, David Gilmour named his 6 favorite Pink Floyd songs:

-Comfortably Numb (co-written with Roger)
-Echoes (all members are credited)
-Shine On You Crazy Diamond (co-written with Roger)
-Wish You Were Here (co-written with Roger)
-High Hopes (co-written with Polly)
-The Great Gig In The Sky (Wright/Torry)

I don’t have my own examples, sorry, but I’m interested in yours because I’ve been a Gilmour biased Pink Floyd fan since my teens. It is interesting that there is only one from the post Waters Pink Floyd, but not particularly surprising. I think David Gilmour is well aware of his limitations as a lyricist and he probably has a similar opinion to most fans, that Pink Floyd was its best when it wasn’t just the Roger Waters show, or the David Gilmour (with various guest lyricists) show.

I’m not a big fan of High Hopes personally, I much prefer Wearing The Inside Out.
