The Splendid Table is produced out of St. Paul for [url=“http://www.mpr.org”] Minnesota Public Radio. I love this show and I miss it a lot, along with the Farmer’s Market in St. Paul. It’s nothing like “The Delicious Dish”. The host, Lynn Rossetto Kasper, is very knowledgable about cooking, and it’s obvious that she loves it.
My favorites are Car Talk, Whad’ya Know, Wait, Wait! and occasionally Talk of the Nation.
The Houston Pacifica radio station has some good local programs like Gay and Lesbian Voices (I listen to that for the discussion on women’s issues) and The Prison Show.
