Jujyfruits MmmMmMmMmMmMmMm
Lord…why all the American chocolate-hating? I’ve had chocolate from all over the world (YES, I HAVE! :)) and Hershey’s plain milk chocolate is good shit.
Man, I know some American foods are inferior to European ones (American cheese…the singles at any rate, the macrobrewed beer, etc.) but IMO, chocolate ain’t one of them.
Lovelyluka our gum is flavoured usually with ‘fruit’ flavours, like grape, strawberry, orange, etc. There is also ‘bubble gum’ flavours and different chewing gum flavours that go with brands (e.g, Juicy Fruit flavour, PK flavour)
My friends are obsessed with American candy, because they can’t get certain brands over here easily and when you can’t get something that tasted nice, people tend to crave it more.

Three packets of sugar that’s been colored and flavored and three hardened sugar sticks. You give the stick a quick suck to the stick and dip it in the sugar and pull it out coated. Repeated till you’re so hopped up your parents can’t stand being around you. Man I loved that stuff.
Here’s my humble opinion, as a candy addict who has spent time in Europe and the United States.
Europe definitly has America beat on 2 fronts: chocolates and gummy candies. You would not be well served to find something as good as Haribo, Cadbury, Milka, Ritter etc.
However, the US does do “interesting” things with their inferior chocolates (ie. Snickers etc). That might be interesting to try. Also peanut butter seems to be in short supply on the continent. This is where Reese’s candies might come into play.
Nevertheless, I think that US has Europe’s number when it comes to sweet fruity candies such as Skittles, Runts, Tootsie Pops, Starburst and the like.
I’ve tried the European Skittles, and they are meager imitations of the rainbow of fruit flavors. MMMM. I can taste them now…
Hey, what about Cherry Mash? I love thos thigs, but they’re hard to find.
