Favourite ice cream flavour?

It’s summer (well, almost). It had to be done.
Mine? Baskin and Robbin’s Gold Medal Ribbon–heaven in a single scoop on a waffle cone.

If I am getting a scoop of ice cream, I tend to go towards chocolate-peanut butter flavors. I also like soft-serve with colored sprinkles. Yes - I am 2 years old.

Susan

Vanilla bean, butterscotch, or strawberry with big pieces of strawberry in it.

Vanilla

(real vanilla, though. Like the vanilla bean Harimad-sol mentions)

Banana. Yum. Hand-cranked, fresh made is heavenly.

Triple fudge Death By Chocolate, with chunks of chocolate in it, preferably covered in gobs of chocolate syrup and chocolate sprinkles.

[sub]what? i like chocolate[/sub]

Bryer’s Vanilla (yeah, it gots chunks o beans innit) with hot fudge on it.

But if I can’t eat on the one I love, I’m a chocolate slut. Lucerme, Blue Bunny, Bryer’s, B & R – doesn’t matter. Unless you go stickin’ marshmallows & nuts in it. I don’t love Rocky Road, no.

Rocky Road or Mint Chocolate Chip. Anybody’s.

Golden Vanilla, with that magic shell chocolate coating.
If I’m feeling gaudy, the Ben and Jerry’s “Everything But the…” is painfully good. The description is *Chocolate & Vanilla Ice Creams with HEATH® Bar Chunks, White Chocolatey Chunks, Peanut Butter Cups & Chocolatey-Covered Almonds. * Need I say more?

Strawberry with lots and lots of real frozen strawberry chunks, please!

I also love cookie dough (hold the rock-hard chocolate chips), or vanilla blends with pieces of cheesecake or pie (such as fruit, pie crust, graham crackers crumbles, or actual cheesecake bits.

Real Vanilla, made from a real custard base of double Cream, egg yolks and vanilla bean. It should be rich and so nice that adding anything too it is unnecessary.

Bought Ice Cream: Ben and Jerry’s Caramel Sutra is pretty darned good.

Mint Chocolate Chip.

Or plain vanilla dipped in a peanut butter shell.

Same here except for the chunks, I like it smooth and creamy. and not that store brand stuff either, quality over quantity.
mmm… chocolate.

Phish Food: chocolate ice cream with caramel and marshmallow sauce and little chocolate fish.

Ben & Jerry are evil and must be destroyed.

Breyer’s chocolate or Peach. God damn. That peach ice cream is especially good on a hot summer day. (Kalhoun ankles down to the vending machine to grab an Eskimo Pie)

Real Chocolate Chip. Not the kind with chocolate chunks that have to be chewed. The kind with almost flake-like chips that melt on your tongue. Baskin Robbins has a good one, but we no longer have a franchise here. Schwan’s is good also. Carnation is even better, but not stocked at any of the markets here (if they still distribute to grocery stores).

I think I need an ice cream freezer.

Pralines and cream, preferably with caramel sauce. Yummm.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream. And oddly enough, my favorite brand is Meijer. I don’t who they are comparing it too, but it rocks.
A close second is the flurry with reese’s peanut butter chunks in it made by my local Frosty Boy.

Chocolate Marshmallow Almond. Chocolate ice cream with ribbon of marshmallow and little almond chunks.

No such thing as a bad ice cream - I haven’t met one I don’t like.

I can’t pick a favourite. Too many of them. I like Ben and Jerry’s, Dove, Hagan Daas, the Dreamery, Blue Bunny, store brands, unknown brands… all of them. Any flavour. As long as it’s not something like fish. Or garlic. I even like green tea ice cream.
