I can’t find it - maybe it got lost in the Great Board Crash - but once upon a time there was one on “Do bats pur?” or something similar. And yes, they do, sort of. They make purring noises that are not anatomically the same as a purring cat.

The question itself was somewhat outrageous. The lengths to which the SDMB will go to stamp out ignorance crossed that line and set it on fire.
Informative, enjoyable, and otherwise of great value? More than I can count.
Still, the one about the guy feeding his semen to the guppies deserves special mention, if for no other reason than the great enjoyment it gave several people in my office. The sight of a can of fish food is still enough to cause a wave of giggles.
