Mark Chmura has been doing lots of radio interviews to talk about Favre. Very nice.

I thought Mark Chmura was in jail.

I’m not sure Chewy is someone I’d want to foster any more association with if I was Favre.
What is the old perv doing these days?

Bat Mitzvahs.

It almost made me feel bad for calling him a choker. Even though I say that towind up Packer fans, he never really choked in the sense that he ever became paralyzed by pressure. He just tried to over-achieve all the time. he got impatient. He wanted to throw for the endzone on every play. He could look as undisciplined as the rawest rookie but if I’m honest, I never once thought he looked afraid on the field.

I agree to a point. If not afraid, I thought he looked at least intimidated in his final game. It seemed quite unusual, as that’s the first time I saw him like that. Then again I didn’t see the Bears game he called the coldest of his career; maybe the cold started getting to him in his old age. [Sarah Silvernman]It’s not cold, you’re dying![/SS]
He was tough as nails. I remember a game against the Giants where he got completely hammered; we’re talking diagnosed with a concussion immediately after the game. After the concussion he briefly came back in the game, of course throwing a touchdown pass before he was dragged back to the sideline.

I remember that play. It was on 4th down. He wasn’t even supposed to be on the field but he wandered back out there, called a play and got a touchdown. After the game he said he had no memory of the play at all.
