It’s true that I don’t have a job where I’m inundated with emails, however I would have thought Hillary had people to weed through them and bring the pertinent ones to her attention. At any rate it’s clear that she saw some of those in question because of her claim that she misinterpreted the “C” designation as being a symbol indicating a paragraph break.
IIRC, she wasn’t testifying that she remembered thinking that. She was asked about the email in the interview and that (or something like it) was her response upon seeing it.
Yeah I’m pretty sure we’re aligned on this subject.
I appreciate you backing me up earlier on the intent thing. It’s baffling how some people who are clearly following along would mock my straight up recount of what has been publicly discussed on the issue.
I’ve read that Huma’s laptop may have 650,000 emails on it. That’s literally more correspondence that any one human being could read in a lifetime, even excluding Carlos Danger’s dick pics.
But if even one of those 650,000 emails has a (c) in the body, the right wing will go apoplectic. Poor Huma.
If it’s her personal email account, many of those emails may have nothing to do with work. Many of us have Outlook or Thunderbird as our local email clients and we get emails from many different sources-businesses, friends, family, work, etc. All those emails are saved. Probably 500,000 of those emails are marketing/promotion/coupon emails from various websites she has bought something from.
She claims they were personal emails, but if they were under subpeona by congress she shouldn’t delete them, and we’d know for sure. Personal, non governmental business should not really be mixed in with official government business and, the reverse is also true, as a lot of people are finding out.
And it needs to be pointed out, the secure, compartmentalized, top secret data and satellite imagery is not in the cloud, and does not (till Clinton, apparently) travel through Yahoo! or Hotmail e-mail.
So in order to receive an email over an unsecured network, somebody had to physically remove it from the state department computers, print it off, photograph it, etc, and strip off the headers and then email it over unsecured networks.
It is not physically or technically possible to directly email classified data from a secure computer system to these commercial accounts.
In terms of this years Presidential election the Brazile leaks are marginal at best. In terms of the medium to long-term internal politics of the Democratic Party they will be anything but marginal.
Yet again, those emails should have been captured. Since Clinton was using an insecure private server, they were not captured as they should have been.
According to the FBI, it is likely emails deleted by Clinton (or her team at her direction) that should be available are gone forever:
I also have heard the theory that Comey is Russian intelligence. Some people are talking about it. They say Comey’s a spy. That’s what I heard. They say that. It’s true. Look it up.
