Karl Rove was wrong for two (2) presidents
Your clear implication here is that Euphonious Polemic is just as ridicous as Trump. Is that what you meant to say?
Name three.
Donna Brazile? I remember her on every channel during the last eight (8) years expressing her views. A very nice and well respected lady, but after she became the head of the DNC I haven’t seen her even once.

Very important name to remember in the next few weeks … Donna Brazile ![]()
People use governmental email accounts for all sorts of not strictly work related content, many of which are allowed if for a limited purpose and not done excessively, such as talking about where and what to have for lunch, work and employee parties and social functions, holiday and vacation issues, when an employee is having a baby or is sick, etc.
Sorry, just a bit of fun on my part.
Of course it’s on Clinton. She can’t outsource her FOIA violations and then pretend they’re not FOIA violations.
OK, I’ve seen this a few times. What the fuck does the FOIA have to do with an FBI investigation? I mean surely no one thinks the FBI has to apply an FOIA request to see anything, right? Are people just jumbling up random accusations or what?
Throwing spaghetti at the wall to see if anything sticks.
The idea is that she used the private server in the first place to avoid FOIA.
That was my original thought too, though in truth it doesn’t hold much water. The existence of the server was easy to discover, and it wouldn’t be exempt from FOIA. Maybe the Clintons would have more control over the server than some random State Department server, but even that is a little speculative. Either way, to control the response to a FOIA request, they would have had to instruct some employee not to comply–which is pretty risky. So in the end I’m not sure the FOIA theory holds much water.
Oh, I can see all this but it is a jumbling of accusations. She hired lawyers to filter out her personal emails so she could turn over only work email when the government requested them turned over. It has nothing to do with FOIA requests. Sure, maybe that’s why she used it in the first place but it doesn’t fit with the current situation.
But frankly, I don’t need people, especially Clinton supporters, to jump in. I’d love HurricaneDitka or one of the other people who’ve tossed it around to explain what they think they mean about these FOIA violations.
They don’t want to overburden us with information.
Hell, I run a one-woman proofreading business via email with about a dozen clients; I also shop online and have contributed to some charities and political campaigns.
I get dozens of emails every frikkin day, easily up to a hundred or more. I skim, delete, skim, delete, follow up on relevant stuff, move long or short-term keepers to storage folders, and deep-six the chaff without reading it. I empty the Trash folder of several hundred emails roughly weekly.
I cannot imagine the volume of email that a Secretary of State would get. Well, I probably could if I tried but the prospect is just too depressingly overwhelming.
But not doing what he did would be unfair to Trump assuming he would have done the same thing (notify Congress) had it not been an election year.
For those of you who pooh-pooh the possibility of the FBI, or people within, looking to sway the election, please note that a mere two hours ago, the FBI released documents pertaining to (and announced this release) a closed 2005 investigation into Mark Rich and the Clinton Foundation.
For no apparent reason, really. Just decided to do that. Surely this, too, won’t be construed as trying to sway the election - they’re just keeping Congress informed, that’s all! ![]()
The American public is demanding information on Mark Rich. We need to see it. Don’t worry about all that Russian stuff. We need Mark Rich.
The FBI is a bunch of very whimsical people. They get a funny notion, and they run with it.
It’s almost enough to make me miss J Edgar Hoover.
Almost.
Upon further review, their Twitter account was silent for a whole year, then lit up on October 30th (Sunday) with a large document dump - including Hillary Clinton’s files, Patraeus’s files, and more. All these tweets were made @ 4am and strongly indicate an automated system (like Hootsuite).
Very bizarre.
