FBI Search and Seizure at Trump's Mar-A-Lago Residence, August 8, 2022, Case Dismissed July 15, 2024

That bar will probably be the closest thing to a presidential library that Trump will ever have. No I’m not counting the virtual one.

Yes. “Undesirables” and even friendly Canada wont let people convicted of Drunk driving in, which is generally not a felony. Some nations have refused an Ambassador, or even licked one out.

I believe that’s what the French do. You don’t want to know what they do in Greece.

We don’t use the concept of a felony. The question is whether someone has been convicted of an offence which in Canada is an offence under the Criminal Code. If so, they have trouble coming to Canada.

There’s other details, but that’s the main bit.

Someone on Truth Social needs to post that link.

A tacky museum devoted to himself that he can use to launder money? Frankly it’s a little weird Trump didn’t set one up while still in office.

Wouldn’t make a million a day.

The more Trump drains the rubes of cash, the less there is for the Republican Party for the upcoming midterms.

This!

Wow. Gross.

I was astounded to find, among the list of seized items, the following totally unexpected item:

  • 1 book

There might be more to TFG’s intellectual depth than anyone had imagined – perhaps even the ability to read – though perhaps it was a colouring book. Somewhere in the list there is probably also “1 box crayons”.

Nah, it was an autographed copy of “Art of the Deal” to give to someone. He’s never actually read it.

So I summoned up my inner masochist, and went to OANN.com the other morning. Nowhere on their front page was there even a hint of any trouble for Trump. No references at all to Mar-a-Lago, or the search, or anything. They’re pretending that it never happened.

Someone needs to do a Backrooms parody of that place with a huge Trump chasing you.

Do we know anything about “item of clothing” that appears numerous times on the list?

I’m guessing MAGA hat, but do we know?

Not just “crayons,” but box of 10,000 of the best crayons in every color of the rainbow.

There was a raincoat mentioned somewhere; could that be it?

Melania’s I don’t care raincoat? Because that would just be too good showing up in court next to classified documents.

Sorry if I missed this elsewhere (it’s a huge thread):

WHY did DOJ want to get the documents back?

  1. Because they think/hope these are the only copies Trump had, so getting them back eliminates future risk.

  2. Because these were the only copies the government had, so we’re flying somewhat blind in several areas without them.

  3. As evidence of a crime, to convict him and/or block a further presidency.

  4. Because they are trying to understand what our enemies are doing, and so want to see if these documents could explain what our enemies may have heard.

  5. To uphold the law, especially as a deterrent for future rogue politicians.

Or something else?

Thanks!
