Isn’t the key point that Fox is describing him as “Fmr President Trump” ?!
That’s it, the Murdoch has spoken.

Yes, Trump made that same claim when he called into the Bell Radio Show on Sept 1. A smart Doper pointed it out:
So, it’s even better than Pharaoh. “So let it be thought of, let it be done.”
He could give Professor Xavier a run for his money, with those awesome Trumpian mental powers!
Joke’s on him, Biden re-classified everything by thinking about it shortly after taking the oath of office.
Just got home and saw the latest. This silmy motherfucker is finally going down. In his entire slimy life he has slimed his way out of everything. Oh, sure he paid a few fines while leaving his his slime trial behind but nothing that really hurt him. This has probably been mentioned in this thread or another, but this ruling comes on the same day that yet another “witch hunt” lawsuit has been filed in New York, against him and his whole fucking slimy family.
It is hard to say how many times in the past 6 years I and others have been confident that he would finally pay. Whether or not a jury will ever convict him is still in doubt, but he will spend the rest of his slimy life in court, raging against the Deep State, when even Hannity (speaking of slime) will no longer give him an interview.
Judge Cannon as their opinion is spoken.
Lol, I thought this sounded familiar. Well, telling some no-name podcaster this is one thing, going on Hannity and making the same embarrassing claim is quite another.
By the way, I listened to the interview and in that clip above, Trump makes a not-surprising admission… but I’m not seeing that it’s been picked up.
“… youre sending it, to Maralago or wherever you’re sending it…”
Also… did Hannity really call him ‘dude’? “Wait, you’re not saying you had it, dude.” Listen to his response to the Hillary thing, it sounds like it.
I read through the decision last night and that single line was definitely my favorite. That “for the sake of completeness” bit may be the most low-key brutal phrase I’ve read in a long time.
The combination of corruption and aggressive incompetence Cannon needed to exercise in order to make this ruling is just mind-boggling. Too corrupt to serve justly, too stupid to even give it a veneer of jurisprudence.
I caught the Hannity interview clip on the TV news this morning where he said that, but my digital antenna reception blips in and out if there’s more than a gentle breeze, so I didn’t hear all of it, and I thought, “did he really say he could declassify documents just by thinking about it? That can’t be what he actually said…can it?!?” That seemed like a cartoonishly ridiculous claim even for trump.
I feel like you can’t be asking that question in earnest
There was an executive order from 2009 regarding how classified documents should be handled. It even goes over steps needed to declassify them. Trump never rescinded that executive order which probably would have made his life easier in this regard.
I know, I know. I guess I have some innate sense of what can be reasonably claimed, beyond which is clear insanity, so I have a hard time believing the crazy shit that he says initially, almost as a reflex. Despite the many, many times I’ve heard him say just as crazy or worse and should know better by now.
I also keep thinking there will be a final straw, a “Have You No Sense of Decency?” moment where his house of cards will finally collapse, despite all evidence to the contrary. But I think this is it now! The final straw!! or is it? From the CNN article linked below:
The emergency intervention upends a trial judge’s order over those documents that had blocked federal investigators’ work on the documents, and is a strong rebuke of the Trump team’s attempt to suggest without evidence that materials were somehow declassified. Trump’s options to block the criminal investigation are now dimming with one of his only remaining possibilities being an emergency request to the Supreme Court.
(Bolded italics mine). I like that paragraph for the most part, but I’m a little concerned about that last part.
For those plumbing the depths of boredom and/or masochism …
He rescinded it in his mind, which is a thing presidents can do.
" ‘On my first day in office I reclassified everything you took, just by thinking about it’, President Biden tells Trump."
Also:
“And if he’s worried about the nation’s prison system, and how he will get on inside, don’t worry, Hillary says you can have the cell you were keeping warm for her.”
For his next trick, he’ll say he thought about pardoning himself so that counts as a full pardon.
