FBI Search and Seizure at Trump's Mar-A-Lago Residence, August 8, 2022, Case Dismissed July 15, 2024

[golf clap]

There are times that I really wish there was a “Like” button. This is one of them.

Also a groan emoji.

That’s very clever. Sullied and floundered?

On stolen White House letterhead, but the printing includes, along the bottom edge, the actual date (in, say, 2022) that the “pardon” was printed. 'Cause, y’know, “the best people.”

If she does double down, I suspect she’d be more vulnerable to impeachment.

Oh oh. “Orenstein did very bad work. Did not find me totally innocent. Witch Hunt! He does not deserve to be paid. Sad!”

Nah. Trump will probably announce that since he “thought of pardons for everyone” that they therefore exist.

“I pardoned myself with the power of my mind. That’s the best kind of pardon. No pardon has been better than this in the history of pardons.”

He’ll be paid in two weeks.

Is trump trying to pretend that the raid was a search for something other than the stolen documents? Why would they need to plant something, like supposed evidence of a crime, when the crime is the stolen documents themselves?

Well, you’re no Smapti … but you’re close.

Not by a long shot.

Here again, there is an apprentice and a master :D.

She could wear a MAGA hat in court and rule that Trump is immune from any and all prosecution, investigation and jokes about his appearance, and there wouldn’t be two-thirds of Senators willing to remove her.

Right. Judges are impeached very rarely, and almost always for corruption. I suppose if they could prove something like she was getting paid off under the table to rule for Trump there might be enough votes.

If you’re going to have appointments for life to insulate judges from political pressure, impeaching her for this kind of thing would be very bad. Remember how Trump went after the “so called judge” who ruled against his immigration order. There are courts of appeals for a reason.

I get that people are appalled by her decision, but Federal judges (and all judges) make terrible decisions all the time. I could start a whole pit thread on just my cases that were torpedoed by very bad rulings.

And the three SCIFs I’ve worked in are also designed to prevent any EM transmissions. This is very serious stuff.

Oh please. They put a padlock on the door. The best padlock. Totally secure.

(I’m reminded of Trump in realtime realizing the flaw in his wall idea when he said: (paraphrased) "And the wall will stop them, you can’t get over the wall, or I guess if you had a rope you could get over it.)

Assuming no bone-spurs, of course.

I imagine impeachment isn’t the only potential consequence. If nothing else, having a terrible reputation could make things hard for her.

No EM transmissions penetrated THAT part of the door.

Sadly, instead of EM transmissions, we are seeing numerous BS transmissions from Trump.
