FBI Search and Seizure at Trump's Mar-A-Lago Residence, August 8, 2022, Case Dismissed July 15, 2024

And let’s not forget that the Special Master was Judge Dearie.

Kenneth Chesebro is the one that always stuck in my mind. IIRC he was one of Trump’s lawyers connected to the fake electors scheme. Yes, I choose to believe it is pronounced exactly as it appears.

Sometimes I think I was in some horrible accident back in 2016 and I’ve been in a coma ever since and this is the best my brain could come up with to fill the spaces.

My favorite Trump Villain Squad name is Boris Epshteyn. If you tried to use that in a novel the editor would reject it for being too over the top.

Edit: also cannot forget Denver Riggleman, who does not, as far as I know, work in the adult film industry as his name would suggest.

Scaramucci wasn’t bad enough?

Moderating:

Ok, this is 10 goofing hijacks. Someone start another thread if you want to carry on with stupid Trump personnel names. Thanks.

USA Today has a graphic to demonstrate the difference in the number of documents found so far in the Trump, Biden, and Pence properties.

How can you not realize they were classified? Aren’t the documents marked? Jeez…

I’m still wondering how significant the content is. For example, the schedule, briefing notes and draft speeches for [whoever’s] official visit to Molvania would rightly be kept at some level of secrecy until it was over, but how important would it be thereafter?

The fact that an aide was copying the content kind of blows the whole “keeping mementos” story out of the water.

I wonder what the aide’s security clearance is.

Yes. The pages are stamped with the classification.

But doesn’t the President’s special Jedi mental declassification powers remove the classification stamps? “These are not the classified documents you are looking for.”

As an aside, I appreciate how the graphic designer put Trump’s documents in a proper Fibonacci sunflower pattern.

Would have been more apropo if it were in the shape of a snowflake.

I bet Trump does too, since he previously accused the FBI of staging photos that he thought were designed to make him look messy. His illegal documents were kept neat, dammit!

In addition, they indicate “copy x of y”. Usually a review date or level that corresponds to review. AND YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO COPY THEM. Sorry for shouting.

As a one time tippy top secret security classification holder, this shit really rankles me. The rules aren’t different at any level of government. Senior execs have aides who are supposed to know the procedures, retrieve and replace the information in approved containers.

And replying to myself, there will be a signiture trail started when the information is pulled from secure storage.

Some of the stuff Trump had (as I understand he had) would require two persons be present at all times when the materials are out of the safe (which has two locks, and only one combination is known to each of the two people present), inside of a two-person rule environment with two locks and two alarm access, inside of a secured facility with two locks and two-person access alarm, in a TEMPEST shielded building that is as nondescript as possible. Oh, yeah and everyone present has to have the appropriate TS-SAP/SAR clearances.

What if Trump thinks otherwise?
