FBI Search and Seizure at Trump's Mar-A-Lago Residence, August 8, 2022, Case Dismissed July 15, 2024

We’re talking about people who believe that Hillary Clinton literally, physically, scrubbed servers.

Sure, and Paul Manafort did time for him until Trump pardoned him. But these are older, tougher fellows who each had a lot more at stake than Walt Nauta does.

Allen Weisselberg spent his entire life in the employ of Trump and Trump’s father, and surely for all that time had an old-timey understanding that if push came to shove, Remember the Family.

Paul Manafort was afraid of blowback coming from someone a lot scarier than Trump (< cough> Putin < cough>).

Walt Nauta? He’s another Mark Meadows, just younger. I’m not seeing a basis for the loyalty.

You wipe it with a cloth, of course.

He’s working through his five stages of grief: 1)Anger, 2)Anger, 3)Anger, 4)Anger, and 5)Anger.

Oh, he has plenty of denial as well. Anger and denial simultaneously.

DS wouldn’t have to. They’d vote for him anyway.

They’re certainly wanting to vote for him anyway when he tried to nullify the 2020 election.

Some sixty years ago my aunt and uncle were the first in the family to visit Florida from California. They stayed in one of the high-rise hotels in Miami Beach and one of the things they commented on was that the pool was incredibly tine compared to the size a similar hotel in Los Angeles would have had.

The planners knew what they were doing though, because no one ever used it. Instead, the guests were sunning themselves on the many, many chaise lounges arrayed around it on acres of concrete decking. My aunt said they looked like pink seals.

Soon to display their desire for mating by turning a bright red.

there are 2 outdoor pools, one is easy to see in any over head photo. the other is tucked into the building back from the easily seen one. the pool that is nestled into the courtyard area could have rooms under/near it.

Back to the DOJ photo of the spread out documents on the floor. There was an article I came across (not sure where, possibly the Daily Kos) that mentioned that some of the top secret documents were actually photocopies, which is why the ruler was set next to them.

Apparently, the red border on the real document bleeds right to the edge, most in the picture had a white border. Any thoughts on this and why this piece of information is not getting more attention from the media?

The thing is, I can’t picture Trump ever going for a swim. I can’t imagine him ever doing something just to relax. Even golf is an occasion for him to cheat and inflate his own ego.

Do the pools at Mar-A-Lago ever get used?

Mar A Lago was originally a private residence built for Marjorie Post, an heir to the Post cereal fortune.

So it was probably built to the upmost standards.

Then again, it was built in the mid 1920s, so some of those standards were undoubtedly archaic when compared with today.

(And I have no idea when the pools might have been included)

She was something else. As a woman she ran General Foods from 1914-1958. Imagine how rare those days for a woman to run a major company. Not just that, but she turned it into a juggernaut. She also predicted that frozen foods would be the future of the food industry and bought Birdseye as a fledging company and made it a success. I’m confident she was pretty good about making sure that place was top notch (in her day at least).

Possible breaking news:

Woooooooo-eeeeeeeeee! If the news on Meadows is accurate, this is HUGE. One might even say beautiful.

One might indeed.

I’m trying to remember how long ago I called this one. At least a year. Although I think it was pretty obvious to anyone with legal experience or who is an avid court watcher to read these particular tea leaves.

YUGE! One might even say ‘perfect’.

With TWO scoops of ice cream on the beautiful chocolate cake!

I’m especially impressed to see a reference to the Espionage Act being charged. Their evidence must be so strong.

It might not be time to pop the cork on the champagne just yet, but it’s looking like it’s time to start chilling the bottle.

Yeah I think I need to hit the liquor store on the way home from work tonight. Woot!
