Plus that poster on another board was correct about Thursday. I’m not about to post there to offer congratulations, but I will look in at that board to see how many RWNJs are melting down. Or at least posting, “But Biden had documents too! Payoffs from China! Hunter’s laptop!” and their usual other talking points.
Cold beer for me, but that’s fairly normal this time of day, especially since I was watching a baseball game on TV, and beer goes well with baseball. The news posted here made me flip over to CNN to find out more about what’s happening; and to get me to change the channel from a baseball game takes some doing!
Charles Coleman was just speaking on MSNBC and reminded me of an important fact: Florida has a rocket docket. This will give Jack Smith some good control to keep this case moving along.
Just had a look. Yep, they’re freaking out. Lots of talk about the above, plus a dose of “But Hillary! But Obama!” And of course, the DOJ has been weaponized by Biden. Either that, or it’s the one that’s running the show while Joe is too confused to have masterminded anything.
I put on Newsmax long enough to see some guy using Trump’s playbook: “New York Democrats have been calling me with tears in their eyes saying this is a bad day for our country.”
I suspect we’re going to see indictments split between various venues. Some for DC, some for Florida – and maybe one for New Jersey. It’s always possible we’ll see superseding indictments, too.
Over on the “What if Trump quits?” thread I presumed that the Republican candidates would be embarrassed to admit publicly that they would pardon Trump. Boy, was I wrong.
I’m told that it’s also very common in Russian to go by various sorts of nicknames. One person might have a half-dozen different nicknames, in different circles. My old Russian classmates were a bit baffled that everyone in America called them by the same version of their name they first introduced themselves as.
