FBI Search and Seizure at Trump's Mar-A-Lago Residence, August 8, 2022, Case Dismissed July 15, 2024

Agreed. I am pinning my hopes on the idea that the breaking point is when President Biden is reelected with a minimum 51 seat Senate majority and a majority in the House. Call me a dreamer.

And now I will drop this since we are veering into hijack territory.

I suspect that it consists of about 30 minutes of incriminating evidence showing that Nauta put the classified documents where the FBI found them, with about 1099 days 23 hours and 30 minutes of boring but important evidence showing that no one else came in and added them to the box. If the don’t include this then it leaves them open to the “The FBI/Biden/Chinese agents planted it to frame me!” excuse.

I’m not sure which thread to put this in; but since it mentions Florida, I’m posting it here. It’s about one attorney’s assessment of Trump’s mental state and how it makes it hard for Trump’s legal team.

Not a well man

Asked by DeVega about the former president’s “inability to remain quiet” where he continues to “incriminate himself,” [CNN legal analyst Norm] Eisen bluntly stated that, in his opinion, Trump is “not a well man.” …

He then added, “…but he does have a disorder of some kind as manifested by how he cannot stop talking even when it implicates him.”

The article also says that Trump’s inability to shut up may taint the jury pool in Florida, though Trump’s self-incrimination may be too much for Trump-supporting juriy members to overlook.

(Now I have a Ramones song going through my head…)

“I Wanna Be Sedated”?
“Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue”?
“Cretin Hop”?

Frontal Lobotomy

‘Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment’.

[End hijack. Apologies.]

Beat on the Brat?

Third person is a named defendant in the mar a lago case. This new defendant helped to move the boxes.

This is breaking now on msnbc and not much detail wise.

I’ve got CNN on in the background. Just now, they interrupted a newscast to state that they have just learned a this defendant has been added in the documents case: a maintenance worker named Carlos-something.

Watch news sources. There is nothing on CNN’s web page yet, but I’m sure there will be soon.

Yep, sure enough. Here it is:

The charges are:

Obstruction, false statements, and corruptly destroying records.

Looks like someone understood the “plucking” motion.

The superseding indictment has just been released. Time to go looking.

Is this guy as devoted to Trump as Nauta or is he going to talk?

Looks like loyal. They were talking to him but now this indictment happened. 3 new counts for trump on this indictment. That is 41, now, eh?

Seriously! They are alleged to have deleted surveillance tape to cover their tracks. Shades of watergate.

Still watching CNN.

Chyron: Trump Team tried to delete surveillance camera footage.

Here it is

Thank you, I just found it. Fast fingers hedonia!

It states it so in the indictment. Employee number 5 is quoted as saying he is loyal to trump.

I heard that he was the guy who “drained the pool” that resulted, goshdurnit, in the surveillance footage being ruined.

New charges for trump, as well.

“The former president is charged with one additional count of willful retention of National Defense Information.”

“The superseding indictment also charges Trump, his aides Carlos De Oliveira and Walt Nauta with two new obstruction counts stemming from allegations that they attempted to delete surveillance camera footage last summer at Mar-a-Lago.”

91 pg31.

De Oliveira’s loyalty was discussed, then trump called him and said trump would get him a lawyer.
