I find it extraordinarily unlikely that he would know or care about this, much less pursue it, but it’s technically possible.

TBH, I don’t thinks he needs a passport to re-fuel on the tarmac. And it will be up to the host country weather they require one for visitation.
I think it’s pretty common for wealthy people to hold multiple passports just in case. And presumably he has planners and advisers who might see to it that he got one, if not through his mother then through any one of a number of golden visa programs.
UK passports issued more than a couple of years were maroon. If the colour was listed…

I don’t think it matters because Trump’s not going anywhere.
He’s been evading prosecution by using mob boss tactics for years, making his wishes known without giving direct orders and using his cronies to do his dirty work, and I see no reason why he wouldn’t break from that pattern now.
Whatever happened, I’m sure I thinks he maintained plausible deniability. I’m betting Jared is the bag man and it wouldn’t surprise me if he were feeding information on Iran’s nuclear program to Saudi Arabia. Or maybe Russia, through his friendship with Roman Abramovich ……but my money’s on Saudi Arabia because he’s cozy with MBS and they gave him two billion dollars.
If I could REALLY speculate, maybe they’re finally tying the Khassogi murder and the Bezos hack and the National Enquirer’s promotion of Saudi Arabia and to the Qatar blockade together into the long running Jared conspiracy that it probably is. And they might’ve helped run up oil prices as a favor to Trump.
This is long shot speculation, but even if it’s true Trumps not fleeing the country, He’ll just pin it all on that Jared guy that he barely knew.
And I disagree with Mary Trump about Jared being the rat. He’s a true crime family kid, loyal to the end - plus he’s probably in so deep he can’t get out of trouble by flipping.
If Trump flees the country, he is of no more use to Putin. At best, the pee tape surfaces; at worst, he falls out of a window. Loose ends, y’know.

In my family, we’ve had several cases of older relatives not wanting to admit that it’s now dangerous for them to drive, with associated drama (so much drama). So I was saying that if it had been his drivers license that was missing, I’d have a guess on who did that. But for passports, I don’t have a guess.
Isn’t “focusing on the crimes” how the entire dialogue gets started? Put as the first line, before the existing one:
FBI: You have classified documents you’re not supposed to have.

In theory he could still run for President from, say, Hungary.
Is “seizing of passport” literal? Why the hell would he leave his passport(s) in MAL? Wouldn’t he be traveling with his passports wherever he goes, even if just domestic? What if there is an emergency need to leave the country? (Like a sudden felony charge concocted by the Radical Left that runs all of America law enforcement)?
And considering that he’s the one who brought up the passport (which was apparently not even in scope of the DOJ search), I think he’s using reverse psychology.
Here’s what Trump is thinking:
Radical Left and its Media Minions: “Ha ha, he can’t escape; he doesn’t even have his passport!”
Trump: {from Russia} “Zoinks! I had it the whole time!”
To me, this is the clearest signal that he actually might just flee, as unbelievable as that as that is!
Looking at both your link and this one, I see only a subtle difference because Trump’s mother and, not his father, was British.
If his father was British, he would be British unless he renounced it.
But since his mother was British, he has to ask for British citizenship (which would automatically be granted).
I suspect it makes no practical difference which parent was British if Trump applied for a UK passport…However, the UK nationality law is notorious complex.
If it did come out that the FBI grabbed Donald’s UK passport, I think it would be unfair to hold that dual citizenship against him. But it would lose him many votes.
