I’m Nick this week so I survived. It’s nice to see Mary Alice isn’t the only mother doing dangerous stupid shit because of her attachment to her child.
That Ophelia side story kinda threw me off, but looks like we know what happens to the happy little colonia.
My god, Madison is an idiot.
Madison’s emotional outburst was very annoying and cliched. It was good to see Ofelia again, though! And now she’s turned “badass”! Good for her!
The actress who plays her, Mercedes Mason, looked spectacular on “Talking Dead”! Gorgeous woman!
She was also pretty badass (no quotes needed) and gorgeous on the Finder, the first show I remember seeing her on.
Travis is still close enough to see the hotel, despite all the car travel? I thought he was way further than that. It was enough of a coincidence that the colony and the hotel shop at the same grocery store.
Yeah, what’s the logic there? :dubious: How the fuck is Nick supposed to interpret a neon hotel sign coming on as a beacon from this mother?

It’s all going to come crashing down in flames and zombies but our intrepid crew will miraculously find each other.
Nothing pushes me away from a show faster than “I’m a mother so fuck everyone else” plots. The only show that I stuck with that pulled that shit was GoT and that was because they resolved it the only way shit like this should be resolved.
Which is? Just curious.
I made it through this episode without my usual screaming fit about incongruities, so I guess that’s a plus. But on the other hand, this episode was almost excruciatingly boring. More so than the rest of this season’s episodes. It still features a bunch of people I cannot find it in me to like (at best!) doing things that are mostly amazingly stupid. I suppose we’re being set up for an action-packed cliff hanger, so – yaw-w-w-n-n-nnnn. Wake me when the fur – err, the gore flies.

She has to watch her son get murdered in front of her because all her stupid sentimental decisions completely fucked them over and they were betrayed by their allies and then she gets killed. The walking dead equivalent would be if Madison and Alicia got thrown out of the hotel into a bunch of zombies because of all the bullshit Madison just pulled.
