I’m throwing my lot in with the hoax theorists. Two questions:
1: Do people actually talk like that in real life? Terrifica and Fantastico’s speech sound almost like they were written with a lot of thought rather than spontaneously spoken.
- Why is a national news network like ABCNews.com covering what appears to be more of a local color story? I could see something like this showing up in an alternative weekly, but the ABCNews.com article is listed as an original report. Why hasn’t Terrifica become one of those well known New York characters, like the Soup Nazi. And why hasn’t she been arrested? I somehow doubt that the police appreciate people running around in disguise that could be used to commit crimes.
