Wow, they are planning on releasing these games all on the same day, Oct. 2nd?
FF9 is for the PSX. All of them can be played on the PSX2-yesterday they informed me that the psx2 reeservation list is closed at electronics boutique [but is open on their net site ebworld.com].
Not knowing one from the other very well, I choose FFXI to go with my PSX2. It’s supposed to be an Internet game too.
Which game would you like to play?
How can I possibly choose? So far we have no information on X and all we know about XI is that it’ll be an internet game. I’ve heard quite a bit about IX and I’ll be buying it, but I can’t compare it to the other two without more info.
Regarding the release dates: According to both http://www.ign.com and ebworld.com FFIX won’t be released 'till mid November. The later site has X and XI slated for an early November release date. Suuuure.

Oh, get an emulator and play FF5 for the SuperNEX–just released here as part of the compilation, but the translated ROM is still the best FF game of all…
Nah, FF6 (FF3 in the US) was the best Final Fantasy game. And after Chronotrigger, Squaresoft’s games have been dropping in quality… unfortunately.
Are you kidding? FF5 blows 6 out of the water any day. Although yes, after Chrono Trigger (the best RPG ever second only to Shining Force), it was all downhill. sigh
