The two-hour pilot will not be included. I don’t know the details but there is some argument over the rights to it. It’s a shame, because the pilot was quite possibly the best movie, theatrical or TV, that came out that year.
Is Fire Walk With Me on DVD yet?
Yay! Now I can retire my poor quality VHS box set.
Can someone who knows more about film/video transfer than I do explain how exactly this tape set looks so bad? It’s not just my copy, everyone I know who has one reports the same thing. It’s grainy, and everything looks orange. How can a company release such a poor quality and not very cheap video set?
Also, any reports of special features on the DVD?
I just checked out the major DVD review sites and, boy, does this suck.

I was going to buy the boxed set some time back, but every review I read complained about the poor quality. I assume a big part of it is that the tapes are probably recorded in EP mode, to cram so much footage onto the 4 or 5 tapes present. I missed this series when it was first shown, saw the pilot, read up on it, and have been wanting to watch the whole deal for some time now.
