I stumbled across a thread in another forum which had a “before” production photo of Keira Knightley that was used for the King Arthur movie poster.
It was notable for three reasons.
In the OP (original photo) Keira was pale and even her expression looked a little off.
Keira was slouching and consequently gave the hint of a little belly.
Her boobs were their normal rather smallish A cup size.
What was interesting was the photoshop trickery that went on for the final poster image. The skin was tanned (and added some tribal tattoos/ body paint). The expression seemed slightly changed. The tummy was tucked in and yes, the boobs were made larger by at least one cup size. See the finished poster here.
Now the image is gone from the forum I cited originally, though I’d love to get a copy of it. Purely for professional reasons, mind you. I do photo manipulation for my job all the time and was telling my coworkers about the image.
OK. Fine… I also think Keira’s pretty hot. But mostly I want a record of the “before” photo out of professional curiousity. That’s my story, I’m sticking to it.
Incidentally, in lieu of noone being able to track down said production photo I think it’d be fun to see if anyone had links to any other “before” photos of well known movie posters/ celebs. (there was that blurred Whitney Houston thing and OJ’s infamous altered magazine cover for instance)
In this week’s Entertainment Weekly, there’s an article about “King Arthur” and in one of the photos, it shows Knightley as Guinevere leading some men into battle with a really haphazard costume on. It was obviously shredded to show off her figure with pretty much only her breasts covered with a wide piece of leather that mashed them into her chest so that she literally looked like a boy from the neck down.
Even still, she was amazingly gorgeous. I realize it’s biologically impossible but I want to have her babies.
She’s under 16, and while linking to nude photos is, at best, a questionable practice on this board, linking to nude photos of underage individuals is in extremely questionable taste and, while I’m not junior modding, you might want to get your apology to the staff ready…
About three-quarters way through EVERY LEGEND flashes up on the screen then HAS A BEGINNING flashes up. Just after that there a very quick cut where you see her in her “warrior” gear. She’s as flat as a flat thing
If you can get your hands on a British movie mag called Empire from last month (It has Arthur on the front) there’s a very clear photo of her in the same outfit and yes she’s a A-cup - .
It’s legal for an underage girl to show off her ta-tas without violating the Child Pornography laws. It’s only when genitalia are involved that it crosses the line.
Remember the scene in American Beauty where Thora Birch flashed her bazoombas at the boy who lived next door? She was only 16 or 17 at the time. And at the time the R-rated The Blue Lagoon came out, the comment was made that Brooke Shields would have to be accompanied by one of her parents to see the movie that she starred in.
Looking at the pictures… the only reason why she appears to be slouching (she isn’t) is because her breasts aren’t that big and her stomach sticks out a little more.
If you took the breasts, and the smaller waist away from the other picture she’d still look a little like she was slouching.
I agree with hillbilly queen too, that the outfit makes her look flatter. Even if she had a bigger chest, the top would pull her in making her appear smaller than she actually is, and since she already is smaller it just makes it worse.
And astro, it depends how snug it is. If it was pretty snug (which it appears to be) you don’t have the jiggling which irritates the nipples badly (I speak from experience, rough top + no bra = VERY painful nipples). That top would be irritating enough though because when she took it off, unless they put something beneath to cushion, there would be lines in her skin. Like when your sheets get tangled and you wake up with those lines because of how you were laying on them.
I don’t know of any stills online, but if you watch “Bend It Like Beckham” there are several scenes where she’s wearing only a sports bra up top. Might as well not bother with that, either; it isn’t supporting anything.
