@penultima_thule watch out for flooding! I don’t know whether road problems along your particular route or not; but apparently quite a few down NYC way and there are problems in some parts of the Finger Lakes, though I’m not seeing anything on the news about Watkins or Burdett.

ETA @Paintcharge – do you know about road conditions your side of the lake?
My side of the lake is fine. I just drove down through Ithaca, and nothing really going on there, as far as water goes. Two Goats is up on the highland, so it should be fine.
That’s encouraging. If Ithaca’s OK then probably Watkins is also – that’s the low spot between me and Two Goats. There’s also that interesting bit of 414 right by the waterfall.

Am now at the VC near Kirkwood.
All going to plan A.
