Some news on a Firefly movie. Adam Baldwin (Jayne) has posted some information over on the Fox Firefly forums and has said that it looks like they are go for a Firefly movie. Right now it looks as if it will be out in about 18 months.

Adam does get a bit hyper about Firefly. It is a show that has inspired some pretty amazing loyalty, both in fans and in the people working on it. Several people said it was the most fun they had had while working (and seemed to mean it) and are looking forward to its continuation. Even Nathan Fillion, who is now under contract to NBC with the intention of building a series around him and who has, therefore, a regular income, is excited about the movie. And poor Joss–he’s been a lot busier than I’d like to be, what with a new kid, finishing Buffy, shopping Firefly first to another network and then as a movie, and keeping Angel going.
