Fires due to Liquor

We all know that some kinds of liquor are flammable. It’s also not rare for the hair or clothing of a waiter or waitress to catch fire while a flaming dessert is being prepared or served.

I’m curious as to whether anyone’s house has burned down due to a fire that originated with liquor. For example, did anyone ever spill whiskey on a lit gas stove that flamed up and ignited the drapes that ended up blazing out of control?

I believe there was a documentary about such an occurrence made in the 1980s called “Revenge of the Nerds” or something similar. In this educational film, the subject’s dormitory was lit ablaze by what academics call a “Fireball! Fireball!”
