First Annual SDMB Fantasy Football Guillotine League - Cecil’s Chopping Block

On one hand I want to discuss some of the moves people have made, but on the other hand I’m not sure I want to give out good advice (if it is) and make everyone better at this thing.

The floor of scoring required, at least by projection, is much higher. The first few weeks we had some team projected to score in the 60s and most people were projected to score 80-100 points, so a pretty big gap. But now we’re looking at the lowest guy projected to score 85 and the highest guy 96, so it’s much tighter now.

Back to the usual suspects again this week.

@Justin_Bailey and @AlsoNamedBort are dueling Tight Ends tonight with Ferguson and Kraft. Only separated by 3 points right now both for actual and projected points.

But both could be bailed out by @Chisquirrel if Nix, Jacobs and Golden don’t combine for at least 35 or so. Seems like he’s probably safe, but you never know.

@Munch could swoop in and steal it with some single digit scores from Pickens and Sutton…which honestly feels like a solid bet.

This game is insane.

Last week I was 10th out of 11 teams. Granted, I had a comfortable lead over 11th place, and was very close to 9th, but had there been only 10 teams, my head would have rolled.

This week, starting the same 7 players, I could very well finish in first place.

Josh Jacobs singlehandedly decided I was surviving this league and winning my other one. That touchdown called back from Kraft and then given to Jacobs was a gamechanger.

@AlsoNamedBort any requests for your final meal?

What can I get for my $1000 FAAB?

A big plateful of regret. :joy:
