What famous male singer was on the first episode of sesame street? I don’t know the answer The question was e-mailed to me last week and I can’t find the answer.
God! Now you have me in a quandry.
The show hit the air on Nov. 10, 1969.
Before that first airing most of the first sequences had been “tested” in front of school kids.
One of the tests involved James Earl Jones reciting the ABC’s. But I’d hardly consider him a singer.
Was he famous at the time of the airing or did he become famous later?
WWW search engines are very useful!
I found this page (which however has the word “fraudbowl” in it, so maybe these are “joke” questions?" You can check out the other Q&A’s on this page (looks like questions from some kind of College Bowl), and if the other answers are accurate, this one probably is too.

Thank you. I would have never thought it was him.
our college bowl team hosts competitions open to the campus at large. gather a team, name it whatever you want (heh heh), pony up some cash, and you’re in. i’d assume that “fraudbowl” was just a name of one of their events, and not an indication of the veracity of the answers. i could go upstairs and ask my friend on the “team” if this is correct, but then i might spill my beer.
