Well well well…it’s this time of year again. Tonight is the first football game of the season for my high school. Hopefully we’ll win. Our marching band is really unprepared for this…we have no drill whatsoever, and we’ve hardly practiced our pop tunes at all. Not to mention we’re a small band. Well, whatever happens, I’m lead trumpet, so I’ll have fun. I’ll post the results when it’s over.
I’m going to the UH opener against Portland State tomorrow night. Should be fun. Hope the game goes well!
Well, unfortunately, we lost, 6-10. It was such a bad game. Mistakes left and right, interception after interception, sloppy defense, and a total of 27 fumbles. Granted, it was the first game, but still…this was like a JV game.
Our marching band did alright, considering we had almost no practice. Fortunately we’re mostly returned members of the band and we knew for the most part what was going on. How ever, our skills are a bit rusty, and we weren’t able to play a lot of our coolest music.
Oh well…it’s the first game of the season…we’ll get better.
Oh, sorry to hear they lost. Interception after interception, sloppy defense, and fumbles galore? Sounds like UH! 
Hey, if nothing else, your band had it together. That’s a good way to start the season.

They’re the Warriors, I believe. It’s not like a new name, logo, and uniform will make 'em play any better, though.
