Someone hacked the board a few years back, and the whole cite was offline for a while until they fixed it. They weren’t able to restore all the data, so a few months worth of posts got lost forever as a result.

Let’s see if I remember how it went - Stage Manager was an alleged child molester and had his info posted on a registered sex offender list, and TubaDiva used behind-the-scenes info from the Dope that she got from her position as an Administrator to out him as a registered sex offender. Tuba didn’t get any punishment for her actions, and many Dopers quit in protest. It was A Bad Thing all around.
