Flirting

Flirting. …as in getting the attention of that cutie across the room (or elsewhere).

How do you flirt?

What kind of flirting is effective?

When does flirting cross the line?

Where do you flirt?

Where don’t you flirt?

What is the result of flirting?

Do you flirt well?

Doesn’t flirt look misspelled after you type it several times?

Arden,

Those are some Fun Threads!

Also, let me redirect: I am putting out a call for people to share some examples of real-life flirting situations.

Fer instance, on one hand, I’ve been on the recieving end of some brick-through-the-window-subtle flirts (“I give really good bl*wjobs,” grabbing my butt, groping in a dark theater, etc.) That sort of stuff can really screw up a person’s detection for some of the more subtle hints a girl can give, like the simple prolonged eye-contact, light touching, extra laughter at jokes, etc.

So this is kind of a poll for people to talk about (hopefully) what they’ve done, what they’ve recieved, what was too much, blah blah blah.

So, Arden. What kinds of things bring a smile to your lips in real-life?

I find that when a female finds me attractive, she’ll most of the time touch her hair, usually to move her hands as if she were putting her hair behind her ears (even though most of the time her hair remains in front of her ears).
When it’s a male, usually he’ll eye me up and down, the subtlety depending on his confidence that I won’t react in the wrong way. He’ll also be almost giggly. (actually, the females tend to be a little giggley too, but in a different way; hard to explain. almost like the male giggles with smiles, and the female giggles with laughter).
Myself? I usually wait for the person to make the first move, and if I’m interested will let myself follow the flow. But, now that I have someone, my methods are irrelevant.
