Font Guru's - Your Help Please

I’m trying to make a Christmas gift for my dad, a HUGE Chicago Bears fan.

I was wondering if anyone could figure out what font they use to paint the words CHICAGO and BEARS in the endzones at Soldier Field?

Here’s a picture for reference.

It looks like Antique Olive – pretty close to the second one on the linked page.

I concur–Antique Olive looks pretty close. Or at least close enough to fool all but the pickiest typographers.

Thanks for the quick response. That looks like it. However I was hoping for a font that’s a little cheaper, say around $0?

I’m on a bit of a tight budget this year (which is why I’m making, rather than buying) and the $29.99 price tag for the font is more than I am spending on the rest of the materials.

I can’t make any claims of accuracy, but the guys on this message board say that this link contains several NFL team fonts, Bears included.

Good luck!

Thanks Hal, but that’s not it. It’s more old school, like you might see on a t-shirt or something. More thin, narrow and straight than the usual Bears’ font.

On a Bears’ message board, they said it was this one. Which I tend to agree is correct.

The problem is that it’s even more expensive at $30.
