Food porn for Beck in the MMP!

It dried out, so Gordie finally got the second walk of the day in. They are repairing the 2 apartments that caught fire, so I got treated to the spectacle of a dishwasher being hurled off the 3rd floor.

"He who dies with the most [del]toys[/del]tallboys wins.

Sorry A Thing did not happen, Nut. : crosses fingers for a Bigger, Better Thing :

It’s Pizza night in the rehab!! I smell it. I’ve walked and had a short visit from The lil’wrekker. She’s home for a month or so. She’ll do her classes online. The University is closed to all but foreign students and essential personel.
Mr.Wrekker had fun panic shopping. He bought loads of canned foods. My house is feeding a crowd so it will be used.

I’m feeling alittle homesick.
It looks like visiting will be discouraged, here.

May good Things happen for you, Nut. Including your car inspection.

I would like to see a dishwasher hurled off a third floor, doggio; I will add it too my bucket list.

Got my Census paperwork and have been formally Censused on-line. Finished off a bowl of Fettuchini Alfredo for dinner and internettin’ will occupy most of the evening. HBO is running a weekend ‘sneak peek’ trying to attract customers; given what I see playing, it isn’t likely I’ll be one.

Everyone have a good night.

doggio, you may be my black market TP connection, should worse come to worst, workin’ in retail and all. :stuck_out_tongue:

nettie, even us heathens have had our meet ups cancelled for the time being.

Sorry A Thing didn’t happen, nut.

Irked, knocked off around 2, headed to the grocery stores for madness. At Aldi, there were a lot of bare shelves, including wine and beer. At Sprouts, it was a bit better, but the lines were long. Tomorrow, I need to hit Kroger for lancets and test strips.

I topped my 90 provision stock off and now have enough to hunker for three months, albeit the third month would be primarily vegetarian fare (not a bad thing). I would miss having fresh produce, aigs and milk though.

When I was in high school, somebody threw a toilet out a third story window. I was in my second floor Spanish class when I saw it go by.
Not nearly as creative as the person who put limburger cheese on the radiator at the bottom of the stairwell.

I got an email from the medical center up here. I have a doctor appointment next week and I wonder if it will be postponed - I hope, don’t feel like dealing with it.
People in the center can have only one visitor, and the visitor’s temperature will be taken as soon as they come in the door. If it is 100 or above, they have to leave.
Since the doctor’s office is in the medical center, I wonder if they will take my temp at the door.
I’m all stuffy with a sore throat, but that is because of all the dusty stuff I am going through.
Sorry Nuts

I am so tired, but I don’t get off irk until 11.

Sorry you are so tired. I know what it’s like, and even a short shift can seem long.

I havee orange juice and peach schnapps. Time for a fuzzy navel. It’s all one needs to endure the news.

At this point even I can’t find it.:dubious:

sari, when I was in HS, one of the guys flushed a cherry bomb down a commode in the boys locker room. I saw the coach come out white as a sheet and shaking like a leaf.

This rehab place is creepy as heck. It’s bad thru the week. But the weekend is just spooky. Less nurses and aides wandering in and out.
I asked one Nurse where everyone was. She told me they are half-staffed on weekends.
I wonder what the food will be like tomorrow.

I’m doing ok on the whole. My pain is better. I still can’t bend very well. And I really need socks on.
Have a good weekend out in the crazy world. (:))

Apparently the thrower did give a flying shit.

My HS Spanish class was why I got into emergency services. One kid went to the ER to get stitches in his haid fire, one kid broke a wrist, at this point, I don’t remember which of the two stories was the real cause & which was the one told to the teacher; both were duzies, though. One fire, & one almost heart attack. Yeah, not much Spanish was learned but we had fun.
Just got home; went out to Da Hood to take some night pics whilst I still could. Pretty awesome! The concept is exactly what I wanted; however, Imma gonna try to find another location w/o so many 'lectric wires in the background.
The ankle is not egg Zachary happy with me, though. :frowning:

Panic buying here too but we have plenty of TP. At irk I was able to get a case of 12 bottles of hand sanitizer and some asshole walked off with a full bottle this morning. So that means I shan’t put any more out unless it is on an occupied desk. I sort of hope my little business gets shut down. We are a nice service but far from essential. I could do with a couple free weeks off.

I have been getting tons of emails about telework and it is being encouraged but my business is really not one when I can keep busy enough to justify it. I have a budget to write and all my help need evaluations but at most that’s about a weeks worth. I still have plenty of leave both sick and vacation so I guess I could just take off.

Our schools were closed today until the end of the month. Does not affect me but will affect two of my four employees therefore maybe affecting me.

TGIF. Happy weekend everyone!

Happy Saturday, everyone! (It’s still Friday here, but I assume nobody will see this until tomorrow.)

We got SNOW here today! It didn’t stick, but still…SNOW, dadgummit! Flowering trees everywhere, birds all happy, and then WHOMP.

I had an interesting chat with the (new) complex manager yesterday. The guys upstairs got bad again. I do not want to listen to Fox News through the floorboards. I gave the manager the history of the upstairs neighbors and their very loud TV/music. She said firmly and confidently that if it’s not during quiet hours (10-6), there’s nothing she could do. I said the first complex manager told me it’s never allowed. She read the lease: “Oh! You’re right!” She texted them (again). It’s quieter now. Hope it lasts.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 59 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 84 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. This mornin’ I shall betake myself over to the church house to get foodstuffs ready for the now St. Patrick’s Takeout Only Feast. Sure hope folks come and get food to go as there is a LOT of it there. This bein’ a celebration of our namesake Saint, we don’t do this to make money, but breakin’ even would be nice. If we were doin’ the normal thing, sump’n around a hunnert and fifty or more folks would be there to eat and partake of festivities. Oh well, we shall see what happens.

Nellie ICK! Snow is not allowed here. I made that plain to snow years ago.

Spidey I do not feel sorry for Tori Spelling. Anybody with five kids should know to keep a good stock of tp. She deserves to have to deal with a bunch of stinky kid butts!

Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, alas, alack, and all manner of bother, I suppose I must purtify and don appropriate bein’ about the public attire. How I do suffer!

Happy Sattidy Y’all!

Up but lying abed for a while. It will be a day of miscellaneous chores and makeage of corned beef and cabbage. I hate posting from my tablet because of the stoopit autocorrect. But I won’t turn it off because sometimes it’s right.

First world problems.

Hope everyone has sufficient supplies till the craziness passes.

Happy Saturday!!

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. No hockey tailgate today. Maybe I’ll just stand in the parking lot and chug a beer.

Nellie, ick! NO SNOW!

Spidey, are you sure you didn’t accidentally take “Thunderdome” instead of Spanish 101?:dubious:

Just finished doing the Census for our household. And I boiled some eggs. Guess I should shower and dress and toss some dirties into the washer. Adulting sucks.

Good morning, and welcome to the weekend.

It’s 06:48, the temperature is 30ºF, and the wind is gusting to 60 mph.

Waiting for the coffee to cook.

Perhaps your grandchild will get another Representative for Maryland.

The plumber and water heater didn’t show up yesterday.

Mooomm where did you get the forms or info for the Census? I haven’t seen anything yet

Happy Saturday everyone. Not much happening yet today except breakfast was cooked and et.

Have a great weekend everyone.

swampie, I hope St. Pat’s breaks even at least. Grace Cathedral isn’t named for a saint, we just celebrate at Pentecost. Hopefully by that time this crap will all be over.
