I had thought of closing this thread and will now do so. I had also thought of warning some of the users about their attitudes toward one another - but to be honest you all are asking for whatever you’re getting.
You’ve been smoking some funny matzo balls if you think you can come into a Christian forum, complain about Christians witnessing to people and not expect to get rebuked or witnessed to yourself.
To complain about it is futile. If you don’t want to have your beliefs challenged, or ideals questioned then I suggest you not post on this message board. I too had thought BANE was being a little over the line, but then I read carefully the posts which precipitated such a response. While I don’t think the response was totaly adequate, I think it is understandable that someone would be offended by your coming here to complain about Christians.

I’m thinking of registering and starting an anti-Semitism thread, complete with quotes from various members. tracer has just provided what would be my first cite in such a thread.
After rereading my post, I really think I should clarify. I’m thinking of starting a thread that criticizes the anti-Semitism that runs rampant on that board.
Please tally up your ***** scores for judging – I can’t follow the dozens of threads and many screen names y’all have put over there. P.S. P0rno doesn’t count.

tracer - you’re absolutely right: by and large, Christians believe in the necessity of Jesus’ atoning death in order to bring about salvation. So as long as there’s sin in the world, Christ has to die for us. Who actually killed Him is quite irrelevant; the standard interpretation is that, effectively, we all did.
So it’s a coincidence that 3-4 creationists just joined this board?
