The thread quickly sank, though. One person responded but mostly addressed the person to whom I was responding. (He had made a standard, “this proves we need religion in schools” statement, which I knocked down.)
Eventually, I’m hoping to work out with these people exactly HOW they’ll put God back in schools without being unconstitutional. I ain’t holding my breath on it, though.

Folks, I do my posting at the Public Library. If I don’t click on the “Clear Fields” button or close the window when I’m done, then my name and password remain and anyone can therefore send a message pretending to be me. It just happened over at LBMB, but I don’t think it’s happened here.
Better delete the cookies off the computer (if the site uses them) as well. Otherwise any time that day (assuming they shut the computers off at night) someone could go to Left Behind and your password/username would be waiting for them.
Yeah, they do shut them off at night. I may simply turn off the computer and re-boot it when I’m done because you can’t close a window unless there are more than one. That last one remains until the computer is shut off.
The Library has also done something else: “Edit,” “View,” “Go,” and “Help” don’t work.
As for looking over my shoulder, they have these “privacy screens” that appear to be polarized so that the screen is visible only if you look directly at it. From the side, the screen appears dark.
I can’t complain too much. Other Libraries don’t even allow people to check their e-mail or post on message boards or go into chat rooms. I’m lucky that the LAPL allows all that.
Aw, c’mon RTFirefly, you know that as soon as you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you’re required to believe that the world will end on 1-Jan-2000 and that science is the tool of Satan (sorry Brian).
Tracer: Everything is a mark of the beast. Heck, they even are talking about a chip that can be put in the eye to cure blindness as a mark of the beast! Yeah, we should avoid curing people 'cus the anti-Christ is gonna use it to control us all!
And we have a NEW random question of the day award! MikeM over there just asked me how old I am! Because clearly I’ve been led astray by liberal revisionist history, OR I’m a card-carrying member of the ACLU! rolling eyes
Oh well…at least they’re not asking me if i’m a Christian. Yet.

In both the Greek alphabet and the Hebrew alphabet, every letter has a numeric value (aleph is 1, beth is 2, gimmel is 3, etc.). The Beast is supposed to have a name whose numeric value is 666; i.e., if you add up the numeric values of all the letters in his name, it will come out to six hundred sixty-six.
Is it the Greek version of the Beast’s name that’s supposed to add up to 666, or is it the Hebrew version of his name?
Did anybody else notice the sudden silence in the c/e thread, part 3? They were all so gung-ho, then I posted a second FAQ info on speciation and shoot down Hovind. Suddenly, all I see is a bump from Stan…
