I have to apologise to yahoo, the message arrived & I’m all signed up now. Nothing to say yet though…must finish off my how I got made redundant story (no it’s not a pity party, honest! Anyway, I have two job offers now from the same company before I actually get made redundant, so that’s ok & I got a story idea out of it…)
Well, almost. Then the same company decided I was critical and gave me a retention bonus to keep me from leaving.
Didn’t write a story about it, though. Maybe the next time I’m in an absurdist mood.
retention bonus…now there’s a good idea! A lot of people are looking outside the company due to the way it has been (mis)handled…we keep saying that we should get our redundancy & get to stay to cover emotional damage & trauma!
