Baseball isn’t funbaseball without the DH. (And there’s no need to bring my mental health status into this! This is SPORTS, for heaven’s sake!)
Hey! Did you see Jim Thome’s winning HR in the bottom of the ninth this evening?
Well **I ** have never turned up on any of his lists and frankly it’s starting to tick me off. Here I send him emails that are steamy enough to melt his monitor and you’d think I’d get a marriage proposal. At the very least I should get an invitation for a tumble in the sack.
Belated thanks for the compliment, struuter! We love you, too.

Well, Frannie, I love the DH.
Almost as much as I love you!
By the way, I didn’t see the game winning homer by Thome, but I’d like to know what the Indians’ record is against Troy Percival (and what his ERA is against them). It seems like they ALWAYS beat him up (one year they snapped his scoreless inning streak from the beginning of the season by hitting three homers in an inning against him. And either last year or two years ago, the Indians came back from about 10 runs down and beat Percival, who decked Dave Justice and started a fight with him.
Seems like Percival blows saves against the Indians routinely. Frannie, if they list how many games Percival has lost to the Indians in his career, what his career ERA against the Indians is, or how many he saves he’s blown to them, I’d appreciate it if you’d post it.

Hope you’ve got a lot of plaster of paris, there.
Never turned up on any of your lists, huh?
From the laminated list thread:

These six people are people with whom I’ve exchanged…e-mails (what did you think I was going to say?). Four of them have been mentioned in this thread (one of them has been mentioned in this post–about nine times). As to the two others, they’re married (Coincidence? you be the judge), so I shouldn’t mention their names. So I won’t. But let me say that Mr. Grace and Mr. Tatertot are very fortunate individuals.

From the crush thread:

Myrr, sorry I missed you. Let’s make out- er, UP, for it later.
Scotti, thanks for the FWDA support. Ya gotta give the man credit, though. He used your disappearance as a cue to resume flirting with ME.
I say full body cast, but leave Mr.Snake exposed. ::evil grin::
Grace, I read the post DRY linked to. All I can say is YOU GO GIRL!! ::high fives Grace::

Sure you would. I’ll do so anyway. The answers to these questions of yours that you’re just dying to know weren’t all available in the online version of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, but this was

Hmm, I’d always wondered under what terms one would use the expression, “making out for lost time”. Now I know

I still chuckle at the thought of you sitting there in shock over my comment. It makes me feel all funny inside.
As far as your list, I stand corrected. And, In any other position you ask.

Bwahahahahahaha! The trick is to pretend be the nice sweetheart. Then, when you make a comment like that it just blows them away.
Of course by now DRY probably realizes that I’m just a nasty perv.
I think that’s where I went wrong. I started out as a nasty perv and now I’m trying to claim I’m a sweetheart. ::sigh::
Awww, isn’t that cute? Audrey’s pretending to be a reformed nasty perv
Oh honey, it’s like losing your virginity. You can never go back.

I’m not sure what you meant by  above–I was quite sincere in my curiosity. I’ve followed the Angels for about 20 years now (although my being their fan is now second to my loyalties to my fantasy baseball players) and I know that Percival just seems to get absolutely killed by the Indians, every time.
What did you think of the Richie Sexson trade? I thought that Sexson was the most valuable player in the deal and didn’t like it for the Indians at first, but I read that some scouts think that Bere is now back to the form he showed as a rising young pitcher with the Sox. If true, getting him along with Woodward and Wickman might be well worth it. Especially since Russ Branyan (though he’d been slumping recently) might very well be capable of succeeding to Sexson’s old role.
By the way, I was at the Dodger game Friday night, and I must say that Paul Rigdon (also involved in the trade) looked pretty good. It’s just too bad for the Indians that he didn’t do as well with them.

I roll my eyes a lot, that’s all.
Richie will go on to be a huge star, and I miss him terribly. I cried when he was traded (I know; there’s no crying in baseball, but I do it anyway).
Bere (I pronounce it, “Beer” ) does look good so far, and I hope that the Indians’ pitching curse doesn’t affect him the way it’s affected so many others. ::knocks on wood::
Branyan has been sent to Buffalo so he can play every day and come back up in September when we’ll need him most. I think that was a good move.
The curse affected Rigdon. I mustn’t have knocked on wood enough.
