This brought out my inner 12 year old.
And few of them used the semicolon;
They’re spelling Colón correctly. They just don’t know it’s not Spanish.
My daugher, Texter Extraordinaire, tells me that if you misspell “cologne” when you’re typing on your phone, it will auto-correct to “colon”. Which doesn’t make this any less funny.
