? for women who have had breast augmentation.

As near as I know, there are basically three ways to have breasts augmented. Silicone, saline and muscle/fat placement beneath the entire breast.

For those willing to say they’ve had any augmentation done, does it feel different? Are you always aware that you have had muscles moved, or fat moved, or a bag of silicone/saline implanted?

Or, after a while, do you not feel the foreign substance/device?

This came up during a discussion of prosthetic implant/devices and how one feels with a replacement hip/knee and so on. I couldn’t think of another soft tissue implant besides the breast augmentation, and nobody talking ( men and women ) had any real idea of the answer.

Normally I can’t feel it. It ached after the surgery for about 3 months but it was the muscle and skin around the implant. If I grab my breast and feel around I can feel the implant. It does feel different, my breasts feel full but in a pleasant way.
