If you know the rates, just shout out. If you’re not in a position to know the market rates, here’s how you find them.
If there is a craigslist for your area, you’ll find the hookers under “services” subcategory “erotic”. Standard W4M(Woman for Man) price, average prices of the first five listings with prices. Staying away from ads with pics would be wise if you’re at work. In fact, this whole activity should probably not be conducted at work. So for my area, Dallas, the first five with prices are 175, 150, 150, 200, and 200. Average of 175 for an hour. If there’s not a craigslist for your area, you may pick up your local free paper and look in the sleezy personals. Either should work.
For the blow, google “[your-town] seized cocaine”. About a week ago Dallas Police Seized $400,000 of cocaine. It says it was “nearly 50 pounds.” Converted to grams, and divided into the dollar figure, we get about $17.50 a gram.
Area is East-Central Illinois. Assuming that everything is an in-call, and a given visit is equal to a half-hour of activity if not otherwise specified, we’ve got 300/hr, 300/hr, 250/hr, 300/hr, 300/hr. Average is 290/hr.
Jan 2007, police seized 9 oz of crack in a nearby town, and the worth was claimed as $20,000. That’s $78/g. This month, same town, police seized “over 4000 dollars” worth of cocaine, which was 44 grams. That’s $91/g. Prices are going up.
It’s a sad commentary on current events that a man can’t even get himself some hookers and blow on a Saturday night.
In DC you can hear them calling out to cars passing by: “FORTY FIVE DOLLARS!” is the cheapest I’ve heard in a while. Of course that probably just for basic drive-through or carry-out service.
SW suburbs of Chicago. According to a Joliet cocaine bust, we’re looking at $100/g here. I intentionally tried to limit my erotic services search to the SW 'burbs of the Chicago Craigslist and it averaged $225/hr over 5 entries.
I guess my reward for clean living is a lot more folding cash.
Spending the weekend in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Blow is a relative bargain at $83/g (someone was arrested in June and charged with selling 1.2 grams for $100). Can’t tell about the hookers, though - nothing in the paper, and no obvious ads for services on Craigslist.
It looks like the girls who look a little more “high class” are about $200/hr, and the more “down home” girls are closer to $100-150/hr. Some of those pictures were really not hot.

Hmm…the only hooker in Roanoke whose ad lists a price is $75 for a 20-minute “massage” session (quote: “I will give you massage and you can give me one too”). Blow appears to be $20-25 per gram.
I’d imagine you could only get those prices in the middle of Old Southwest, though…and were I inclined to want either, I wouldn’t trust anything I got from that part of town. Besides, everything else is more expensive downtown; no reason why these should be exceptions.
I guess I’ll be the one to step up and say that street hookers run you $10 for a BJ and about $30-40 for intercourse. Of course, you’re getting something like what you’d see on a bad Fark mugshot, but clearly it saves you a lot of cash.
Knowing the going rate for street hookers is one of the joys of working for the PD. That and knowing how to pass field sobriety tests.
Dang, I would never have imagined Seattle was cheaper for blow than Dallas. I figured the midwest/south would be cheaper because we’re right across the border from the suppliers. Looks like we’re still comptetitive on the hookers though. Streetwalkers notwithstanding. No idea how much those go for around here, not even sure how to find them. The street which was infamous for prostitution when I was growing up(a frequent childish taunt was “I saw your momma on Harry Hines”) is clean as a whistle these days. Our mayor has something of a vendetta against prostitutes for some reason and cracks down on them pretty hard. She does the same to the homeless. And yet she refused to bid on the Cowboys’ new stadium. Ah well.
Drain Bead, there’s a charming story once told to me by a former co-worker. He’s a professional barfly. One time he was stopped for drunk driving. He passed all the field sobriety tests, but the cop took him in and had blood drawn at the station. Came out 1.83 or something like that. Seriously over the limit. So he was charged. He fought it in court and won. See, he argued the cop had no probable cause to take blood because he passed all the field tests and he didn’t consent to the blood sample. So it was disallowed as evidence and he walked. I guess if you are functional then the actual alcohol level doesn’t matter, but damn that was a scary story.
In another instance, I was having dinner with a vendor who was trying to sell us a big contract(~$50 million) and they were wining and dining us in a nice restaurant. They were passing around expensive bottles of wine, but I don’t drink, nor do a couple other members of the team. The conversation amongst the drinkers turned into a “dumb things I did while drunk.” One of them said he was once pulled over and asked to recite the alphabet backwards. He said “the best thing to do is to refuse, because no one can do that, even sober, so it’s a completely unfair test.” So I quickly recited the alphabet backwards. It’s a dumb trick my wife taught me(that’s another story) but it got some big laughs that night and this one blowhard’s jaw dropped about six inches. He asked me to repeat it because he was sure I had screwed it up somewhere. So I repeated it, faster this time, and then had to repeat it slower so he could tell that I had done it correctly. If I ever take up drinking, and am dumb enough to drive afterwards, I hope I get a cop who uses that as a test.
A friend of mine used to be a Trafficker. He would bring the stuff up from Dallas to the East Coast cities because it’s just super cheap down there compared to here.
I invite you all to South Africa. At today’s exchange rates a gram of blow would cost you $50 and a high class hooker about $70. And that’s a HOT hooker and GREAT blow. You can get by with half of that if you’re not terrible picky.
Well it’s London and men we’re talking here (if that’s of any use), but escorts here tend to be (roughly) between £70-£120 for an in call and £100-200 plus taxi fare for an out call.
