I like May 4th – that’s the first clear weekend on my calendar, assuming no work interference. Anyway, there’s a buncha restaurants around Six Flags and the Ballpark in Arlington to choose from. The ones along I-30 are mostly chains, if that matters to anybody. Or we can just do Six Flags.
Negative on the Flags, I’m to still to crippled to walk around that long. In Arlington there is Joe’s Crab Shack, Red Hot And Blue, Hooters, Mercardo Jaurez, Tony Roma’s, and Salt Grass just off the top of my head, more in Fabulous Fort Worthless. My personal Favorite is Ghengis Grill, on Hulen…Mogolian BBQ…
All in All, Mercardo Jaurez would probably be a good choice, I-20, right across from Fry’s…
As much as I’m looking forward to meeting y’all in Ft. Worth (and maybe getting in a visit to my brother in Dallas), I’m going to be in Biloxi that weekend, keeping a certain Airman company. So May 4th is out. However, I’m sure that at some point this summer, I’ll be able to go up.
I ate at Big Bowl the other day. It wasnt bad, but you get so much more for your money at ghengis. I used to eat at Ghengis 3 of 4 times a week. Its gotten so they remember my drink order, and the table I like to sit at…Damn, I think I’ll go there tonight.
I just remembered a small, very good Italian restaurant just off of Collins near I30. It’s called Rocco’s Pasta. They don’t serve alcohol, but they let you bring your own.
Either Genghis or the Italian places sounds good to me.

psst…it’s World Wildlife Fund and World Wrestling Federation. Don’t get them mixed up – unless, that is, I’m slow on the news and these two have merged to bring us The Rock duking it out with Koko the gorilla.
