Forward, March! in the MMP

Well, this royally sucks! I just got a letter from my landlady that she intends to sell the condo and that I have to be out by May 1st so her brother can move in until it’s sold.
She’s asking $180K. Anybody got any money they can lend me?

Okay, leave chicken bones and voodoo paraphernalia in the yard.
Liquor bottles, needles and condoms strewed about the porch.

No, I like my neighbors. Besides, I wouldn’t get my security deposit back.

***rosie ***- that sucks!! You just moved in there a little bit ago, didn’t you? :frowning:

Supper was yummerrific!! Steak, N.O.T.-n-onions, broccoli, plus apple-oatmeal bars for dessert. The dessert is a new recipe, so if it’s any good, I’ll share. Otherwise, I’ll be unhappy. And you won’t like me when I’m unhappy… :stuck_out_tongue:

Back to work tomorrow - I’m a little nervous about the roads in the morning, but I’ll drive carefully, as usual. For the rest of tonight, knittage will ensue - I’m going to finish one more shawl before we go to Mom’s on Saturday - that’ll make 6 for their nursing homes, plus one afghan.

Plan ahead - clocks go forward this weekend!!

May 1st 2013. I have until May 1st 2014 to move out or buy the place. I cannot go through the aggravation of packing and apartment hunting again. Waaaaaaaah!!! :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

So sorry Rosie, you just moved.

Jim

I feel blah this evening.

Last load of laundry is in the dryer. Actually it’s probably dry and I’ll gt Sah-son to bring it up later. Although Id like to have it now being as I’m sitting nekked because I have no clean pants to put on. I can’t quite figure out what is wrong, I feel like getting up and walking across the room is like trudging through a mile of sandy beach.

Time for irk though, so too late for a nap.

{{{Rosie}}}

You’re gonna have such bad pruney fingers?

If she can’t sell it, she will continue to rent it.
I speak from experience.
I fear I must put my tenant in a similar situation.

Damn, Rosie, I’m sorry!

Knit time!!!

Howdy Y’all! Home from the Shrove Tuesday doin’s over to the church house. ‘Twas a great time. Lots o’ people showed up and lots o’ pancakes, bacon, and snausages got consumed. I am, however, tahrd! Real tahrd. As in goin’ beddy bye soon tahrd.

{{{Rosie}}} that well and truly sucks! May you find even better digs.

Have I mentioned I’s tahrd? I am. Tahrd that is.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

Hey, y’all. Survived Icepcolypse VIII, but there’s so much salt on Rory at the moment, deer are following me around. Waiting for the late Canes game to begin. Got orange anch poke chops in the oven.

{{{{rosie}}}} That sucks. I got $20.

Welcome back, Genius!

swampy, once at a store, a guy asked me if I needed help. I told him I was beyond help.

Capt’n, tanks for reminding me to get tix for the Pour House(and for Jimmy Buffett).

I ran the vacuum, wasn’t sure if I should dump the canister in the trashcan or on the driveway as the contents are about 85% salt that was tracked in.

I also changed the sheets; it’s March & it’s cold so I put the really warm flannel ones on (again) - does this mean a heat wave is acomin’ tomorrow? <rolleyes>
Rosie, is your dismay that you gotta be out dis May, or is it next May?

Emergency! It’s raining inside the apartment!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis a dreary, rainy 38 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 63 and rain. Somehow this seems appropriate on the first day of Lent.

doggio I’m no expert, but I think it ain’t supposed to rain indoors. Might want to get that seen about.

So, today is Ash Wednesday. This means at some point I must betake myself to get ashed. Probably ‘twill be this evenin’ over to the church house. I could go at noon but think I’d rather do it this evenin’. Last night the kidlets burned the palms from last Palm Sunday to use as the ashes for today as is tradition. Thus, for the kidlets last night was pancakes and fire. Could it get any better!

Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. Then, alas and alack irk purtification must commence. At least I don’t have to travel today, so there’s that.

Happy Hump Day Y’all! For those amongst us that observe, a blessed Ash Wednesday and a Holy Lent.

Did you forget to put the roof back on, doggio? :dubious:

It rains inside city buses here in the summer, because the bus drivers enjoy opening the sunroofs in the rain.

Blurf.

Had a wierd and vividly realistic dream last night about me delivering a baby, something I always wanted to do when I was playing bambilance. I had enough people die on me, so I figured it would be nice to bring one into the world.

Rosie, are you sure you will have to move?

Mornin’ all.
Up at a reasonable time (early for me) today to call the doc, as one must to get an appointment here. I’m still managing to be terribly unproductive despite the early start- I should away and do some gardenin’, as it appears to actually be dry for once! In fact I noticed yesterday that the 5 day forecast had no predicted rain at all- I reckon that’s a first since about November… Maybe I’ll actually get to have a bonfire this week- I need one to dispose of the silly trees and shrubs eejit ex neighbour had stuffed all over the place (who plants cypress trees in a vegetable garden?), they’re a bit big for composting, but too small for proper use as firewood.

Anyway, sorry to hear about your flat Rosie. I shall send the pointy stick weildin’ Sri Lankan Spider Army (Uk Reserves) around to make 'em reconsider.

As seen on the sign outside the Loothrun church near the VunderLair (where I’d go if I wasn’t a lazy slug): “Whoever is praying for snow, please stop.”
