Y’know, this Yank spent Saturday night drinking Guinness at a friend’s birthday party. But then it was probably the imported stuff. And it was cold to boot. So it probably doesn’t count. 
Anyway, congrats on 4000 Coldfire. And remind me to tell you my Wally rememberance story sometime.

Not only is it illegal where I am in the US, even if I were in a position to drink I would not for a few reasons:

I’d have taken medicine for social anxiety, among other things, which does not mix with alcohol in the sense that walking in front of a train does not mix with living.
-
Alcoholism runs in my family and I’m fairly sure if I started drinking I wouldn’t stop.
-
It can get damn expensive and the more you drink the harder it is to get drunk.
No disrespect meant to those who choose to drink. Just put “root” in back of “beer” when you consider me drinking.

I never got to know Wally,
but he must have been a fantastic person,

I’m only 3000 behind you now, Coldy. I’m writing up the minutes for the Dopefest now, and I’m thinking of creating a new thread about Saturday night aswell, but thats another story
