I was looking at the winter schedule listed at fox.com (you can see the schedule here). I couldn’t help but notice that I did not see Arrested Development, Kitchen Confidential, or Prison Break on the schedule. I have read that Fox ordered 9 more episodes of Prison Break, bringing that season to a full 22 episodes. However, I do not see room in the schedule for Fox to actually show 22 episodes (unless they cancel additional shows.) I would also hate to see Arrested Development get the shaft again. Does anyone have an explanation for this?
Wait!!! They are keeping the Craptastic “War at Home” on the air and letting Arrested Development go?!?!? @#@#% Fox!
This isn’t exactly news. When Fox announced their schedule for the fall, they announced they would be revamping the schedule on Monday and Tuesday.
Basically, two of their biggest hits – American Idol and 24 – are not returning until January. In order to make room, they’re cutting the three Monday shows, moving House to Monday, and putting Idol on Tuesday and 24 on Monday.
The three Monday shows are not being cancelled. The idea was to give a full season of all of them, without reruns, then switch to the others. Once January rolls around, Fox will decide to renew for next season, but removing them has no bearing on that decision.
I have a feeling Kitchen Confidential will not make it to January anyway.
That makes sense. It will be a tight fit, but I guess they should be able to fit all the episodes in.
