Free CD burner software?

I’m looking for a free CD burner package that supports CD-R/RW…any suggestions?

PS. 30 day trials are no good…and I’m not after anything fancy.

If you are using Windows XP, the cd burning can be done by opening the cdrw drive and dragging the files over…

but it’s not the greatest…

What do you need it to do?

If it is just burning data or audio onto a CD, and you aren’t put off by command line tools, you might try cdrecord here:

Here is a link to a site that provides a graphical front end to use with the CDRTools, and some links to where to download them:
http://demosten.com/cdrfe/

These won’t do squat for you as far as copying protected CDs or authoring multimedia stuff - they burn CDs and duplicate normal ones.

NoNags has a bunch of freeware burning tools and other CD-R apps.

download.com has software that can do anything assuming you have a PC not a Mac…

cdrw drives come with software too.
