Guardians of the Galaxy was a superb game. Tightly focused and fun.
Yes, I bought it on Xbox when it was new. Then it showed up for free on Game Pass, and now Epic is giving it away.
It was worth the money though. It’s like being in one of the films (though the game isn’t an official MCU game, and draws as much from the comics as the movies). The gameplay and humor are great. The story is very good. This is a ridiculously good game to get for free.
I thought that was a brilliant choice, it kept the experience much more fresh.
No doubt kept the cost way down, too, not paying all those movie stars.
I really liked the story in it, stood alone within the 1-3 of the movies, but the game itself was a bit “hit keys and hope for the best”. Worth the 20 quid I paid for it last year. Zero Punctuation (NFSW, very sweary) review of it. (please note ZP doesn’t really do totally positive reviews, so it’s kind of good according to their reviews).
Wow, I had this on my Waitlist for $15 and almost bought it.
Just got it free. Will play at some point. Amazing.

More of a logic game than factory builder. Figure out how to put your different assembly machines to get the final product.

I think I still have PTSD from Doki Doki Literature Club. 
It is only a demo (not full game) and I think the demo ends next weekend (Feb 10 or 11) but adding it here since it is part three to a great series and I expect some here might be interested. The game’s full release date is March 8.
FWIW the developer has just pushed back the release date to May 13.
