Hi-I am interested in getting professional languages done, but I don’t have money to pay anyone for professional translations. I ask a lot of questions about slang and colloquialisms.
What websites out there provide professional translation help for free, in ANY aspect of language, besides Proz.com?
I tried translatorscafe.com, but I think they get testy if you ask too many questions-since it’s a site for professionals by professionals.
Please let me know. Thank you.
I have tries Wordreference.com but I think they are too strict over there.
Can someone please suggest some language exchanges?

I don’t think any of them do it on a consistent repeated basis. You can’t get something for nothing.
About.com has a nice French forum with many people willing to answer questions but nobody is there to provide long-term professional-quality translation services for free.

You can try linguistic forums like Unilang.org-but not everyone there knows the answers to all your questions.
